Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) uses a light-activated topical solution to deeply target and treat acne, sun damage, and precancerous skin lesions. The photosensitizing agent is absorbed into problem areas and then activated with light, clearing oil glands, bacteria, and damaged cells while stimulating healthy skin renewal.
Best For: Moderate to severe acne, sun damage, and actinic keratoses.
Good Candidates: Individuals struggling with cystic acne, resistant breakouts, or early signs of sun-induced skin changes.
Results: Reduces acne breakouts, minimizes oil production, and improves overall skin clarity. Multiple treatments may be needed, and mild redness or peeling may occur post-treatment.
