Shave within 24 hours of your treatment.

If treating the face, avoid retinols for 2 weeks prior to treatment.

Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, or artificial tanning for 2 weeks prior to treatment.

Remove all self tanner and makeup from treatment areas.

If you are taking any antibiotics, schedule your appointment for 2 weeks after your last pill.

Avoid exfoliating agents like Retin-A, alpha or beta hydroxy acids, toners, or any irritating creams for one week prior.

DURING

Your nurse will assess your skin tone, hair type, and hair color to determine the best settings for your laser hair removal treatment. Settings are adjusted for each treatment to ensure the best possible results. You may feel slight tingling or pinching as the laser zaps the hair.

After

AFTER

Expect slight redness and possible follicular edema. Blistering is possible in rare cases. Patients may experience a slight tingling sensation as well These should all resolve on their own in the days following your laser hair removal treatment.

Avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours. Be sure to always apply a broad-spectrum SPF. Please stay out of the sun and avoid tanning for 2 weeks after treatment and 2 weeks before your next treatment.

Minimize exposure to heat in the treated area (hot showers, sauna, steam, tanning, etc.).

No working out for 24 hours. This also includes any activity that will cause sweating.

No swimming in a pool or beach/ocean for 24 hours.

Certain hormone therapies or vitamins can result in slower hair loss.

Avoid any other hair removal methods to ensure optimal results. You may shave the treated area in between sessions, however this may result in slower hair loss.
