Preparation

Before your appointment, a member of our team will provide you with a set of preparation instructions. While these instructions are fairly straightforward, preparation is essential for the best results. You will need to stop taking certain medications and supplements that contain blood-thinning properties. Alcohol consumption should be avoided before and after the procedure to minimize any potential bruising. Nicotine use should also be ceased several weeks before and after the procedure. You should also make an effort to eat balanced meals, stay hydrated, and avoid using any products on the treatment area the day before your appointment.

Procedure

Upon your arrival, you will be taken to a private treatment room where your skin will be cleansed and a topical anesthetic will be administered. Once you are comfortable, your specialist will carefully inject the Sculptra into your buttocks. They will carefully layer the filler to help you achieve your desired volume and shape. After the appropriate amount of the formula has been injected, the specialist may gently massage the treatment area. You can expect your treatment to last between 30-60 minutes.
