Procedure

Your specialist will perform your advanced microneedling with PRP treatment in our office. This treatment usually takes less than an hour, with the exact duration of your appointment depending on the details of your treatment. Our advanced microneedling treatment typically includes topical anesthesia for your comfort.

Your specialist will lead you to a private treatment room where they will cleanse your skin. They will collect a small sample of blood from your arm, similar to that of a standard doctor’s appointment. Your specialist will process the sample in a centrifuge to separate the targeted components.

As the centrifuge processes the sample, your specialist will use a small handpiece with rows of fine needles to perform your microneedling treatment. As they pass the handpiece over your skin, it will create microscopic wounds on the surface. They will repeat this action until the entirety of the treatment area appears uniform and even. They will then apply the PRP evenly over the treatment area, allowing the serum to penetrate deep beneath your skin.

Recovery

One of the primary benefits of advanced microneedling is that it requires little to no downtime, which means you can return to your routine immediately after your treatment. However, your specialist will ask you to follow certain guidelines as your skin recovers.
